Our instructor will arrive approximately half an hour leading up to the outing. Participants will arrive at 5pm to put on their PFD and help move the kayaks to the water. At 5:15pm we will be on the water for some light instruction with a half-hour lesson on paddling technique, followed by a 1 hour tour of the Esquimalt Lagoon. Depending on the weather, we might be able to go to Fisgard Lighthouse or Fort Rodd Hill. Upon landing, participants will tidy up their gear and help the instructors load the kayaks back onto the trailer.
