Puukko Knife - Carbon Steel with Maple Burl

The Puukko knife is a small, traditional Finnish belt knife. It is the ultimate general purpose knife that will perform outstandingly in almost any situation.  

This Puukko knife is made with a hand-forged 8CrV2 carbon steel blade, making it ultra tough with excellent edge retention. This steel is commonly used in tactical knives because of its durability.

The stunning handle is crafted from a unique mix of birch bark, double-dyed maple burl (the turquoise ring), and birch root burl. The Finnish word for birch root burl is “koivunjuuripahka”.
