Puukko Knife - Carbon Steel with Oak Burl

The Puukko is a small, traditional Finnish belt knife. It is the ultimate general purpose knife that will perform outstandingly in almost any situation.  

This Puukko is made with a hand-forged 8CrV2 carbon steel blade, making it ultra tough with excellent edge retention. This steel is commonly used in tactical knives because of its durability.

The handle is crafted from a range of beautiful materials that connect it to its Minnesotan and Scandinavian roots. A mix of shed moose antler, birch bark, and Yellow birch wood that mimics Karelian birch wood from Scandinavia make up the main handle. The distinctive ring of black wood is a rare 300 year-old oak that was reclaimed from the bottom of Lake Superior, making this knife truly one-of-a-kind.
