Paddle Canada Level 3 Preparation: Tilicum & Port Renfrew

Prepare for your upcoming Paddle Canada Level 3 or get a taste of what it's all about! On this weekend course we will get comfortable paddling in current at Tillicum Narrows, and get comfortable paddling in the dynamic environment of Port Renfrew. 

The focus of this program will be on the application of leadership, decision making and risk management skills allowing team members the opportunity to lead and make decisions based upon weather conditions and the sea state encountered. Competent boat handling and rescue & safety skills in the variety of conditions will also be a focus of the course.

• What's included: Two full days of instruction including two on land theory sessions during the course. 
• Location: Near Victoria. We will pick an exact location according to the weather. 
• Time: Approx. 8am to 5pm 
• Prerequisites: Paddle Canada level 2 skills or equivalent skills.
